Alissa Phelps, HR Administrator

Alissa Phelps has joined our team bringing over 15 years of compliance knowledge in government contracting and private investment management. In her years of working for a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor, she served in roles that were vital to the corporate structure of the organization.


In these roles, she gained invaluable knowledge of the full DoD contract lifecycle and how to execute processes and procedures within the industry. She has experience with overall corporate compliance, DoD contract recruiting best practices, corporate business structure, employee engagement and retention, benefit management, and payroll processing and reporting requirements. Assisting the Executive staff of a large government contracting company allowed her to gain a unique understanding of overall business strategy goals and how the HR & Compliance needs fit into the success of these goals.


Additionally, Alissa comes with experience in bookkeeping and account management, particularly with QuickBooks online software. This experience provides knowledge on corporate taxes including payroll and employer tax compliance. This knowledge has been an asset to our payroll processing and providing corporate tax compliance for our clients.


Alissa has a Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University. She has completed QuickBooks online certifications level 1 and 2, is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the North Alabama Society for Human Resource Management (NASHRM). She is an active Board member for the North Alabama Foster Closet serving as the Treasurer as well as an active volunteer for the organization.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, Stephen, and two young sons, Waylon & Lincoln.
